The Executive Mayor of the City of Joburg, Councillor Geoffrey Makhubo, led a small army comprising members of his cabinet, ward councillors, senior officials from the city and volunteers in rolling out services in Ivory Park, near Midrand.
Billed as the Accelerated 120 Days of Service Delivery Campaign, the Executive Mayor led teams of workers who attended to residents’ concerns from Tuesday, 13 April to Friday, 16 April in Region.
​Concerns attended to included:
• Water, sanitation and sewer
• Electricity
• Storm Water/KI Cleaning, Roads and Potholes
• Land Invasion
• Illegal Dumping and Waste Collection as well as
• Grass cutting, Trees and Maintenance of Public spaces.
